National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art

The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (MMCA) is a contemporary art museum with the main museum in Gwacheon and three branches each in Deoksugung, Seoul and Cheongju. The museum was first established in 1969 as the only national art museum in the country accommodating modern and contemporary art of Korea and international art of different time periods.

# Opening Hours

: Advance booking are temporary necessary on visiting museum.

– Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday: 10:00 ~ 18:00

– Wednesday, Saturday: 10:00 ~ 21:00

Admission

– Tickets for all exhibition at MMCA Seoul: 4,000 KRW

– Entry is free on the last Wednesday of each month, which has been designated as “Culture Day” by the government

– 20% discount for groups for 10 or more
