K-Lounge (Korean-Lounge) is one of services that Chung-Ang University offers for FREE! Well-trained teachers are waiting for you guys every day from 9 A.M to 10 A.M
- Who are the teachers? Who are the GLAMs?
GLAMs are native Korean students at Chung-Ang University who are working to help exchange students feel more comfortable in their new surroundings. GLAMs offer both the service of a friend and a helping guide for students at CAU.

- What do they teach?
They teach wide range of Korean, from the Korean alphabet and expression to Korean culture. This will make your life in Korea more fruitful!
- How do they teach?
There are three levels in K-Lounge: basic, intermediate, and advanced. Here are some examples had been dealt with during the previous class.
Basis level: Consonant, vowel and pronunciation of Hangeul
Intermediate level: a simple sentence and conversation
Advanced level: Korean slang, short-paragraph reading
Korean Culture Class: Korean drinking etiquette, Korean traditional games
- When? Where?
Global Lounge (English, French, and Korean) is located on the left side of Building 204 (Library).
Time: 9AM – 10AM, Monday to Fridays.
* Due to the COVID-19, K-lounge has been postponed to the next semester. GLAMs will provide you guys with better quality of education.
